Funny Hat Day at Delphi Academy

Today was Fun Friday at Delphi! Once a month we have a Fun Friday with an unusual, but very fun theme! This month's Fun Friday was "Funny Hat Day". All the Lower School students dawned the most exciting and interesting hats they could find. Here are a few great shots from today!

Delphi Academy Alumni Success

 Delphi Boston Alum Jessika Williams

"After Delphi, I was admitted into Boston Latin School. I graduated in 2008, as BLS is a school that starts with 7th grade and ends with the 12th. I am now attending Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. It is an all-female Historically Black College in close proximity to Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University. I am majoring in Biochemistry, while pursuing certification with the American Chemical Society. I intend to pursue a career in Forensic Toxicology after Spelman. I am currently a recipient of the Dean Scholarship (Spelman), the SMART Scholarship (Federal), and the Edwards Scholarship (Boston-based)."

Delphi Academy Students Learning Art

The Delphi students in the Form 1 class are doing a very fun project where they are practicing their artistic skills. Ms. Marjorie, our fantastic art teacher, is running a project where they are looking at photos of landscapes and duplicating the colors in order to compose the images. Delphi Students Perform "The Clown Prince"

Last night our Middle School drama class put on a wonderful performance of "The Clown Prince", by Bill Hayden. This is the story of a prince and a princess who are told they must marry, despite them never meeting. The prince and the princess disguise themselves as a gypsy and a clown to escape their own fates. On their separate journeys they meet each other and fall in love, not knowing who the other is. This story is a drama, a romance and a comedy all in one.
